Stromizmeritel's screw feeders are meticulously designed, featuring a dynamic framework that encompasses a water-cooled cylinder housing a horizontal screw feeder. These feeders are equipped with a frequency-controlled drive for precise control, along with a receiving hopper for efficient material intake.

 

During operation, the charge gravitates from the receiving hopper into the screw feeder, which then smoothly transports it to the loading area. To ensure optimal control, a level sensor can be installed in the metering hopper, providing feedback to regulate the loading of the charge by the screw feeder. Remarkably, the feeder's ingenious design eliminates the need for a loading pocket, allowing it to be seamlessly installed in a standard opening in the upper structure of the furnace. An insulated fixing ring is employed around the water-cooled cylinder, ensuring a tight seal for the feeder and preventing the intrusion of cold air into the furnace. This not only enhances safety but also minimizes heat loss during charge loading.

 

These exceptional loaders find extensive applications in various industries, including the production of perfume glassware, fiberglass, and notably excel in furnaces used for melting high-temperature glass and basalt rocks.
