Spiral screw feeders

USING

Spiral screw feeders are employed as part of dosing automatic or other device complexes. They consist of a body mounted on a bracket, a pipe, and a spiral with a shaft, or alternatively, a spiral with a shaft and a ripper, depending on the specific version.

These spiral feeders are primarily utilized for feeding small loose components from a flow hopper to a dosing complex or another container with predetermined capacity.

The spiral feeder can handle dispensed materials such as loose components, as well as adhesive and caking substances, with a natural slope angle not exceeding 60 degrees, humidity not surpassing 5%, and particle sizes up to 3 mm.

It is important to note that the cement throughput rate presented in the table takes into account uninterrupted material flow and proper hopper design. However, the actual capacity may vary based on the screw design, dispensed material characteristics, and the nature of material flow from the hopper. Therefore, it is essential to specify the equipment's capacity in each specific application, considering the mentioned factors.
