Control unit BU-1053 is designed to be used as a measuring converter for controlling continuous-action differential feeders. The differential feeder consists of a hopper installed on strain gauge sensors for continuous weight measurement and a feeder with adjustable output, unloading material from the hopper, as well as a discrete sensor signaling the loading of material into the hopper. During periods when no material is being loaded into the hopper, the unit maintains a set output rate, and during loading, it maintains a constant control signal on the feeder.
