BASIC SPECIALIZATION OF STROMIZMERITEL

Development and manufacturing the dosing and process equipment for the glass furnace batch production shops. The glass furnace batch is a multi-component mixture, which can include 7-10 bulk components (sand, field spar, alumina, dolomite, soda, sulfate, chalk, saltpetre, coal, crushed glass, etc.), 1-2 liquid components (water, mortar saltpetre, oil residuals, etc.) and micro-additives (selenium oxides, cobalt, arsenic, etc.). This mixture is subject to high requirements for the dosing accuracy of components at a high process productivity, for the uniformity in chemical and grain-size composition of raw materials.

Significant factors that influence the quality of the glass furnace batch are also the supply sequence of the raw materials to the mixer and their mixing duration. The optimal mixing time is from 1.5 up to 3.5 minutes for different types of mixers and one charge size. Value of the dosed portion supplied to the mixer varies from a few grams up to 2-3 tons for different materials.


EQUIPMENT AND ENGINEERING

Variety of the manufactured feeders and process equipment, combined with an automated control system, allows to make an optimal choice of the dosing equipment design, mode of loading and unloading of the batchers, method of weight dosing, depending on the physical and mechanical properties of the material, dose size and required productivity. The automated dosing and mixing complexes of small additives, which allow preparing and dosing a premix i. e. a preliminary mixture of microadditives and a small amount of the main component of the furnace batch (filler) are designed to improve the accuracy of dosing the microadditives and their uniform distribution in the mixer.
